What Real Recruiting Interest Looks Like

Interest has levels
A message, camp invitation, questionnaire, evaluation request, and direct conversation do not all carry the same weight. Families need context before they build a plan around any one signal.
Ask what changed
The useful question is not only whether a school contacted the player. Ask who initiated the conversation, what the coach requested, what comes next, and whether the player’s academics, film, position, and timeline fit the program.
Keep building evidence
Recruiting becomes clearer when the player’s film, preparation, academics, communication, and development keep moving. An honest plan protects the family from chasing noise.
