01 · Lansing roots
Caj grew up in a family shaped by athletics, military service, faith, and community responsibility. That combination built an early understanding that visibility matters most when it is used for other people.
02 · Michigan State
At Michigan State, Caj developed inside a nationally recognized defense and a championship culture. The experience became a foundation for how he leads teams, reads pressure, and communicates in high-stakes rooms.
03 · Professional football
Caj reached the professional level and signed with Baltimore. A severe spinal injury ultimately changed the direction of his playing career—and forced a much larger question about identity, purpose, and what came next.
04 · Career transition
The injury ended the path Caj expected, but not the habits football built. He carried preparation, accountability, and an athlete’s eye for detail into new work, while teaching himself video and music production and learning how to tell stories in a different way.
05 · Game development
Caj contributed firsthand football perspective to Madden NFL 23 and 24 through narrative, authenticity, executive walkthroughs, and performance work. He later brought that same lived knowledge into NFL PRO ERA across narrative, voice, music, performance, and cultural authenticity.
06 · Creative + business work
Game development opened a wider lane into production, music, voice, consulting, and business development. Caj’s work now connects athlete experience, cultural context, creative decisions, and practical strategy for teams building products, stories, and partnerships.
07 · Community involvement
Service has remained part of the story, from Project CSI with his mother to Detroit youth work and Spirit of Detroit recognition. Caj continues to use football, gaming, business, and creative work to help young people see careers and opportunities they may not have known were available.
