Story design · Character + player journey

Build the person. Then build the moment.

Narrative

How the work takes shape

THE APPROACH

01

Find the human stakes

A season, a roster decision, or a high-pressure moment only matters when the audience understands what it means to the person inside it. The narrative process starts by locating that emotional truth and building the football context around it.

02

Write the room accurately

Football has its own tempo, hierarchy, humor, and shorthand. Caj brings an ear for how players communicate with one another—and for what often goes unsaid—so dialogue can carry both information and the texture of a real team environment.

03

Keep the player at the center

Interactive narrative has to leave room for agency. The goal is a journey with enough shape to feel intentional and enough openness for the audience to recognize the experience as their own.
